Colorful Christmas Porch

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Dec 14, 2019 · Modified: Jul 15, 2022

Colorful Christmas Porch

Hi there friends! I think this is the last of the Christmas decorating posts for 2019. WOWZA, where did this year go? They keep going by faster and faster.

Elf Wreath

I kept it simple, yet fun and colorful on the front porch this year. The elf I bought at Dollar tree and just tucked him inside my existing wreath. The burlap and wood ornaments I made a few years ago and added those to the wreath. I will leave all the links at the end of this post that pertain to a DIY I made or did.

Christmas urns filled with ornaments, and Dollar tree decorations

I never met a plant I can’t kill! So why bother? I added ornaments, picks, and whatever else I could find to fill my Urns.

I love how they look and I don’t have to worry about watering, or the plant dying when the temperatures dip at night.

The only new purchase is the Elves Welcome mat. I found that on Amazon. I will link that as well at the end.

Christmas decorating on the porch

All my porch furniture and decor is starting to take a beating. Every year I think of replacing it, but then I think to myself, I like it this way. It looks like it has been there for a hundred years. Surely it must have a story! The only story I have, is spray painted over and over again HA!

Vintage cane chair painted with chalk paint

I wouldn’t recommend taking a seat out there. Nothing is sturdy. But it’s sturdy enough for a few light decorations.

Fun and colorful Christmas porch decor

Just in case I don’t get a chance to check in again before Christmas, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a blessed and Happy New Year. I have Jack home for three weeks, and Alex will be home for a few days in between. We plan on enjoying their time home and spending lots of quality time together. Hope you enjoyed our colorful Christmas porch.
