Hey there friends! Today I am sharing some house fluffing and sprucing I have been doing around here. It’s been 15 years since we have had our bedrooms painted. They were in much need of it. We can’t tackle that job ourselves anymore. It’s just too much intense labor. I had to laugh though because one of the painters was a young man and after one day of painting, the next day he was walking funny and a little sluggish HA! What does that tell you? It’s not an easy job.
Anyhoot, I chose the color Whirlpool by Sherwin Williams. I love blue of any variation and blues in the bedroom make it more serene in my opinion.
I bought some new colorful bedding for the master bedroom, and for the once was our boys game room, turned to the craft room, I plan on giving that a complete overhaul. I don’t use it as a craft room anymore. My thoughts are making it more boho, 70’s groovy mid-mod style:) Inspiration down below. I created all the designs featured.

I have an Etsy shop now that has been really keeping me busy. I actually have two shops, Mid Century Modern Gal, and Sunflower Boho. I admit I put way more time and effort into the Mid Century Modern one. Who knew that it was such a popular style still?
When Mike and I bought our Charleston condo that was the style we chose to decorate and that was my inspiration to then start the Etsy shop. I absolutely love it!
This was the job in progress. It is a lot more difficult to have the house in disarray. I imagine that is why I have put it off for so long. It takes me days to get everything back in order.

I am very pleased with the color I chose. I think it will go with almost everything I decorate with.

I got a little sad when I put this Guest room back together again. It was my Mom’s room when she came to visit. I kept thinking how much she would have loved everything. She absolutely loved the mattress more than anything though LOL. It’s a firm, Sealy. I don’t find it that comfy, but she sure did. I think I need a new side dresser. Come to think of it, I have one in the closet that I used to use. I believe I painted it over with chalky paint back in the day. I’m happy I just thought of that HA!

I really love how the orange bedding just pops and goes so nicely with the new wall color. I love color and always will. It just makes me smile and be happy. For the white and gray lovers, I’m sorry, no offense. Below are the new curtains that are on their way. I couldn’t use any of the curtains I create as mentioned they are all Mid Century Modern style and simply wouldn’t work for the Boho look I am going for. However, stay tuned for the boy’s game room makeover. I am so excited to make that room over.

So that’s the latest and greatest around here. As soon as I get that craft room complete I will show you the end result.
Fall is coming Y’all! You know that is my favorite. I plan on doing a bit of crafting, as soon as I feel the inspiration. Thanks for stopping by today.
