Hey y’all! It’s time to start fall crafting with the dollar tree!

Welcome to fall crafting with the dollar tree

Welcome to fall crafting with the dollar tree.

It time to get your butts over there while supplies last.  They go fast around here, and I would assume likewise for your area as well.

Truthfully, I needed nothing.  I never do when I go in there.  I am packed with fall decor.  But just to be nosy and see what was new I had to stop by.

I wound up with a few clipboards, some fake fall leaves and a roll of orange burlap.

I sort of had in mind what I wanted to do.

I had plenty of fabric left over from my mod podge on canvas art I shared the other day.

I did use this formula once back a few years ago on a terra cotta pot.

I decided at the last minute to jump on facebook live and share a live tutorial on my how to use the mod podge fabric formula.

It’s just so easy, but for those who may be intimidated to try it, check out my video at the end.

I used my leaves and orange burlap to jazz it up some.  But you can add actual recipes to the clip, or whatever cute things you may like for your kitchen.

One of my viewers suggested these as hostess gifts. Brilliant idea. I also think these would make great teacher gifts.  Especially if you are on a budget and simply want to show your appreciation to you child’s teacher.  I know I would personally love a gift of home made something like this.

Of course with one of my stencils finished it off.  I have used this sample already 5 times.  I haven’t washed it off in between and I see I had some burlap fuzz stuck to it from making my

That’s ok, when I get my real stencils on hand I will be sure to take care of them.  Stencils wash nicely with gentle soap and  warm water.

I was reading how to make the coastal vase and have a question. Do you let both coatings of modge pose dry?
