By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jul 17, 2013 · Modified: Mar 30, 2015

Hey, hey there everyone!

Hope all is well.

Thought perhaps you gals would like to see how the baby shower I recently attended all came together.

Today I share some Fresh, fun ideas for hosting a baby shower.

Baby or Bridal shower party ideas

Although, I was NOT the host, I did do a few crafts and I will show you how they all came together.

It was held in our local club house which is quite lovely and fits comfortable 25 people or more.

This particular shower there were about 15 of us.

the mom to be’s theme is Owls, nature, birds, trees…all whimsical type.

The cupcakes were made home made

by a friend of ours Tia who actually has her own business here.

Lady chef creations.

As you can see she had them all boxed up nicely with her cute little card.

thumbprint tree for baby shower

This was a neat idea.

My friends husband painted the tree and we all added our thumprint to it for the leaves.

It will be framed and hung in baby’s room.

There is my mason jars that I filled with goodies for Mom to be’s other two children.

The little gal {daughter of mom to be} was smitten with the fact that the candy was hers.

hung proudly and I am sure Mom to be will find someplace cute to place it in her home or baby’s room.

Baby shower decor and party ideas

The board you see here was a cute baby picture game we played.

All the guests baby picture was placed on the board and we had to try to guess who each was.

Surprisingly a lot of people guessed mine.

So there you have some cute creative ways to host a baby shower.

You can do it very inexpensively by having a girls crafting night and everyone making a little something.

the food, can be finger sandwiches and a fruit platter.

The decor can make a simple yet very cute or elegant statement depending on your own imagination. Go with it!

They sure have come a long way since I had our boys.

Thanks for stopping by today.

    Hi Deb,
Too cute but my favorite is the thumbprint tree! My daughter’s shower is in a month and this would be a great idea–but I think I will have her other three children do their thumbprints and then top it of with new baby girls prints when she arrives! We’re doing a shabby chic & burlap theme!

It’s so important to always remember the other children when a new baby is born. I remember getting my first son a “now you’re a big brother” present from his brother when he was born. He was only 2. We got him a little work bench w/ plastic tools from Home Depot that made a lot of noise and he loved it. I also like the thumb print tree! Such a cute idea, and a great way to remember everyone who showered the new baby with love and well wishes!

The thumbprint tree is such a sweet and clever idea! I love your mason jars! Did you spray paint just the outside or both inside & outside?

Love those ideas for a baby shower! The banner you made is very cute. I don’t doubt that she’ll hang that in the baby’s room somewhere. I love the idea of guessing the names of the baby pictures! What a fun game that would be.
