Dollar tree Winter Platter

By 45 Comments

Hello there everyone!

This was such a fun and easy project.

I made a Dollar Tree Winter platter.

To me, this is simple crafting!

Dollar Tree Value Seekers Club makes it all possible.

how to make a winter wall platter from the dollar tree

First, let’s talk about this Picasso of a job I did.

I started off with this Dollar Tree silver plastic platter.  Light as a feather and looks like the real deal.

diy chalk board winter platter

I had an idea that I would make a printable and go from there with it.

I wanted this wall platter for our kitchen.

I first chalky-painted the platter.

You can use any chalk paint you like; they carry them at just about everywhere now.

After that, I glued my printable on the platter, and lightly painted on some sparkle mod podge for the wintery feel.

The snowflakes came in a pack of three from Dollar Tree and I simply embellished the platter.

Seems after Christmas the house is bare, the hustle and bustle stops yet winter drags on.

I like to add some winter decor and doing it on a budget, making it your own is really the best way I have found.

Plus, crafting cures the winter blues.

There is a reason for every season printable

I made the winter printable a few weeks ago and you can go print one of those up as well if you wish to make the same.

So in closing for this project all you need

is a

Dollar Tree silver platter, plastic or metal

chalkboard paint

and Printable of your choice.

Now how about I give you a chance to win a $100.00 Dollar Tree gift card so you can go to town?

Cute plate. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks January can be an empty month, drag-on kind-of month for decorating.
