DIY Summer wreath

By 34 Comments

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a very fast and easy DIY Summer wreath!

You all know, I love to spray paint, and tis is the Season.

I purchased an oval shape wreath and decided our pantry door needed a Fresh Summer look.

I used the rest of what was left in my Krylon spray paint can from my pallet project

P1170438 768x1024 Another free Pallet project!

Because I did not want to tuck away my garden seed banner…

I thought I could somehow incorporate it on my kitchen wreath

New way to plant your garden seeds.. Exciting!

sooooo…..

I spray painted the wreath and just added the raffia bow….

then I took the banner and just hot glued it around the wreath.

It’s very happy and colorful!

Some people, have pillow addictions, rugs, placemats…etc…

I think I would say mine is a wreath addiction!

Our guestroom closet has a stack of them almost up to the ceiling!
It’s a problem.

Have a great day!

Well admitting you have a problem is the first step! Ha-Ha-Ha!! Just kidding. I do like your garden inspired wreath. It’s perfect for your pantry door. Just don’t let those spray paint fumes get to you now. There is just no telling what kind of wreath you’re liable to whip up next!

My first thought when I saw the words spray paint and wreath was you were once again painting your “wreath of all seasons”. Now I find out in addition to the multi purpose wreath you have a whole closet full of others! What is the five step program for Wreath’s Anonymous?

I love your wreath. If I had a pantry door, I’d make a wreath for it, too. Currently, I have one on the front door, side door, back door, and the living room wall. Is that too many?

A seed packet wreath! What a great idea! When I packed up to move I discovered a box of seed packets that I received as a housewarming gift…..11 years ago! Oops! I didn’t throw them away as they don’t take much space and had possibility.
    Thanks for the inspiration!!

What a sweet wreath! I’m inspired. By the way, I love the valances in your kitchen. I’m crazy about chickens as well as fleur de lis so they’re right up my alley. Any chance you could share where you found those window treatments?
