Happy Friday!
Welcome to a Trash picker, flea market, diy home tour you will be sure to enjoy!

Hi, I’m Denise Sabia and I am thrilled to be showing off my home tour here at Debbie’s!

I write a blog called The Painted Home.

I am a DIYer, a trash picker and a lover of all things flea market!

I have 3 small kids and a house full of animals, including chickens (but they’re in the backyard,

not the house). So, I like to keep things simple, easy, and inexpensive.

I make do with what I have, and I try to make what I have as clever as possible.

Enjoy the tour!

We’ll start with the foyer…I’ll try to talk as little as possible so you can just enjoy the eye candy.

But, let me know if you have any questions, I’m happy to divulge and decorating secrets I might have.

The walls in the foyer are covered in chocolate burlap fabric.

I hate strippping wallpaper, So, I covered this problem wall with book pages (right over top of the wallpaper)

Hmm, well, I made it through without talking at all hardly!
I’m always updating and fiddling with things around here, so stop by and check out what I’ve been up to recently!
Thanks for having me Debbie!
Thank you Denise for having us.
Not sure what I love most, because I absolutely LOVE everything! If you don’t know Denise, hop on over and say hello!

Oh Debbie – I am so ashamed that I missed commenting on your BD. Happy belated birthday!! I hope you had a wonderful birthday, and remember, as I tell myself – not older only better – oh well I’m ancient.

I loved your post on the trunk and had tears while reading. I cannot imagine being 16 and having a baby. Your mother is truly a treasure and so are you!

Enjoyed this house tour so much and even spied one of my favorites in the toile fabric curtains. Such creativity and imagination in this wonderful home. Thanks so much for sharing a true inspiration.

I like the old up against the new in particular the coffee pot against the scales and the salt holder.
