Hot fun in the SummerTime! Easy stencil project…

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jun 1, 2011 · Modified: Jun 8, 2013

If you are a reader of my blog, or new here,
You will find I love easy diy kitchen art
So today….
I had some red burlap on hand, stencil paint, stencils, and a little creative thought today.
First let me show you the original…
This project still til this day receives a lot of views. I am hoping someone copied it, and if you did, or want to, please do show us!
Now onto today’s project…
Sunny and bright
My older boy requested green apples the other day.  I have not seen him eat one yet.
I know the letters are off and random. That is the way I wanted it, as I am not a perfecto decorator, so why try is my theory, just make it look that way!
Now doesn’t that make for a pretty summer vignette? Done in few minutes time.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Hot fun in the summer time, easy diy kitchen art (1)
All my stencils came from Hobby Lobby same with the craft paints and red burlap.
Cost well under $10.00

LOVE that red burlap. The apples sure look pretty even if he's not eating them (maybe he doesn't want to mess up your pretty arrangement). 😉

You're going to have a great summer with the son. I think a lot of bloggers are taking time off to enjoy all this sunshine. I think your canvas sign is so cute. Have a great day.

That is just darling Debbie and it helps kick the summer off for sure! My son was done with school last week so we are easing into our new schedule and it definitely is throwing me off a bit with computer/blogging time. But I LOVE getting more Ian and mommy time for sure! 🙂

Love the new sign! The red looks terrific in your kitchen! Too funny about the apples. My boys do that to – make a special request and then summarily ignore it when it's filled. I've already started dialing back on daily blogging, because of summer nearing. Glad I'm not the only one. Thanks for sharing.
