I love the new color, Debbie. The room is so cheerful and bright now. I like the contrasting look on the pie safe. Have you considered a similar paint treatment on the ladder shelf? Maybe rough it up a bit? Decoupage the shelves?

Love the kitchen. It looks bright and cheery! as far as the paint color for your ladder, I would paint it the same color as my wall or trim and cover it in a caramel colored glaze. I think that would bring the color of your burlap drapes, your pottery pieces and your clock face over to the other side of the room. Good Luck! I know whatever you do will be gorgeous!

I’m in the middle of a makeover and also chose Ben Moore Bavarian Cream. Like your kitchen, mine also has wooden beams. However, the Bavarian Cream seems to have a greenish underone in my home. Have you found that at all? Thanks for all thoughts.

Hi Victoria, no I have not noticed a green undertone at all. That is odd. Perhaps you have green in the decor that it is throwing it off?
