Porch decorating for the spring season

Good morning friends! Hope you are all doing well. I miss you:). I actually do miss my friends and readers here. Y’all were the best group ever. Since I am engulfed in Home Pressure Cooking these days, I clearly see and feel the difference between decor bloggers and food bloggers. Let’s just say, it’s different. I have made only a few new friends among the food bloggers. I have however, made a lot of nice friends on my page and in the community I have been building in the past year. I always seem to attract a really nice group of ladies who follow me that are supportive and kind. I feel blessed.

Any-hoot, you can to see some porch decorating for the spring season. I know many of us are still experiencing cold weather. Some even snow storms. It’s terrible. This morning it was 30 degrees here in South Carolina so I can only imagine how it is in the NE.

Most all the accessories on the porch are either re-purposed from old things I had, or things I picked up from Goodwill. It’s been a while since I have shopped for anything new. I just don’t need it anymore, nor do I want it. This is a Goodwill tray makeover you can see HERE.

I swapped out my Urns I have had on the porch for a few years and went back to my original ones. These here are all heavy stone that were originally black and I painted them with white Chalky paint. They have taken on a look of their own and I actually am quite pleased with the look. The other expensive urns were hard plastic of some sorts that were cracking and chipping and starting to look like junk. You can find my painted URNS project HERE.

I highly doubt the pretty flowers I planted will make it for long. I have been tending to them daily though, so we shall see. That bench you see here has been various colors throughout the year. That too, I love the old chippy look it has taken on. You can find the garden bench makeover project HERE.

This is some sort of hardy succulent that did not require full sun. Let’s see how long this lasts.

For now I thought I would share a little bit of the front porch before the pollen kicks in and I can’t even breath to go outside.

Thanks for popping in today:) When the weather finally gets nice enough for you to feel inspired and cheery, I made us a little Spring Printable.

PRINT HERE.

Simply print and frame in an 8 x 10. It should make you smile. I love the pretty color scheme in this umbrella. Enjoy.

If you are new here, you may want to check out my Amazon storefront of goods. I have pressure cooking accessories, and a stencil line. I have a new Spring line coming soon:)

Thanks for your Spring porch update; I hear ya, this weather is very unpredictable. Warming nicely one day and the next, here comes the snow. I hope your flowers make it; they are so pretty. Love that dark green succulent; very nice next to the black fan. Today it feels like ‘being outside’ but we have snow forecast for the week end YUK I haven’t done any yard work but did get some curtains and windows (inside) washed this week. Hope it’s nice for Easter.

This weather has been crazy. We’ve gotten snow in the Midwest these past few weeks. I love the pillows on the bench.
