Let there be light {bhg lamps}

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Nov 11, 2011 · Modified: Dec 30, 2014

I seem to be on a roll lately with Better homes and gardens brand.
I see a lot of gals like to have little lights on the counter.
I have never really done that, however, I do think it looks pretty cute.
So I scored this little one for I believe $5.97 and thought I would come up with something cute.

I could not leave it black though.
I painted it with some smidge of Annie sloan chalk paint provence blue that I have left.

ahh…yes much better!

If you have never used these flickering light bulbs, I would suggest you do.
My Mom turned us on to them years ago.
they give off a nice ambiance.
I decided not to put a shade on this little gal and leave her as is.

At night it looks cute too.
And there you have a very quick, cheap project.
I like having a light on the counter too.

and yes, the bulb was almost as much as the lamp.
However, they last a long time and look super.

One more thing before you go...today I am guest posting over at Mary’s of HOPE filled living.
If you would like to read about my Holiday tradition..hop on over and check it out.

P.S.
I have not been compensated for the praise of these bulbs…you can thank my Mom!
