Fall is in the air….everywhere I look around

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Sep 13, 2010 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Yep I always sing a song and change the words….my boys do it too now. Well I love FALL, in case you have not figured that out. But I am betting most of us do. Of course for the Northerners it only means winter is around the corner, and not too many embrace that season.  I have totally revamped my dining area. Of course more changes to come, but I wanted to share a recent dinner party we had and my table scape. Nothing fancy, but it was cute and we had a fantastic evening. I made home made spaghetti sauce. It was delish, and enjoyed by all.

First let me start with a mini project. You remember the plates I have had going up and around my window sill….well I decided I am over that look.  I bought an open barn wood frame and stained it. Now I can add plates seasonally and I like the look better too.

Love the new pumpkin candle holder, bought at YES the Walmart!

The white bone china is from Poland. It is a set my Mom passed down to me. The silverware is a recent purchase from World Market, I only bought 6 forks and 6 knives.  In the mean time my Mom surprised me with  new set which I will be sharing soon. The napkins are from World Market and the chargers are from the Walmart.

New Umbrella for Fall and winter.  I have to buy a new umbrella once a year. I wait til the end of the season when they are on clearance.

Thanks for popping over.  Hope you enjoyed our little Fall visit over at Debbiedoos.

Have a great day.

    Looks fabulous!

I have yet to decorate for fall. I promised Travis I would wait a little closer to the actually start of fall. But he is going out of town all week and I told him that fall may be in place by the time he gets home! lol

I like the way you place the runner cross ways on your table. We used to have a great old European Pine Harvest table, and I would do the same type of placement with a Dhurrie Rug. It was a pretty neat accent. The frame for the plates is a great idea! Your pumpkin centerpiece is darling, and I know that you had a wonderful evening with your friends.
