Fall decor and crafts

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jul 15, 2012 · Modified: Aug 2, 2015

I love Fall!

Today I am sharing some Fall decor and Craft ideas I have done throughout the years.

If you have been around for a while you certainly know that of me already.

So please do

flatter me, and enjoy!~

I do realize it is 95 degrees out and in the middle of summer.

 Family gathers here! {guts challenge}

Last fall is when I really started getting into some pallet projects.

They were free, and I love to repurpose!

 Family gathers here! {guts challenge}

This was for our outdoor living area, and I enjoyed it so much.

One thing about me, is once I get on a kick of  something…

I keep going…

 Got more Wood? {Pallet projects}

Everywhere you looked there was a stenciled and painted pallet somewhere.

 Got more Wood? {Pallet projects}

I had to move on to another craft.

 Home decor vignettes {how to create your own}

This diy kitchen art that I had done in the summer carried me through Fall paired up with a cute glass jar filled with a pumpkin and some seeds.

 Home decor vignettes {how to create your own}

I love Mod podge too and never really dabbled much into it until I started blogging!

Who knew? I never even heard of a vignette until I started blogging either!

 Home decor vignettes {how to create your own}

My goodwill silver tray transformation turned Fall vignette!

This vintage kitchen recipe pumpkin was probably my favorite.

 Mod podge pumpkin! {Fall decorating}

I kept it out all season, up until Christmas.

Candy corn goes quick in our house come Fall time!

This was a cute idea to display candy corn in mason jars.

 Country french kitchen tour... { decorating with mason jars}!

You can always expect a craft or two from me in the Fall season!

This small counter top wood pallet box I picked up for a few bucks at Michael’s and gave it a quick makeover.

 Wood Pallet Fall craft on the cheap!

Our outdoor area is always my favorite. With the abundance of trees, comes and abundance of color.

Did I mention an abundant mess too?

Well yes, that too.

What is the Fall season without Mums?

**************************************************

 Chalk paint, terra cotta pots, MUMS the word!

This Terra cot pot got a new fresh Life for Fall as well.

 Chalk paint, terra cotta pots, MUMS the word!

The mums finally bloomed a gorgeous pink color.

 Decorating with Owls {rustic, nature, woods}

Of course what is Fall without a wreath or two?

 Fall wreath! Do you have about 10 minutes to spare?

 Kitchen Fall wreath

Made from natural elements from our woods and embellished with some cute Fall critters and twigs.

I really enjoyed this wreath and can’t wait to bring it out again.

 Thrifty Fall decor tablescape!

One thing I really love about Fall is decorating the porch..

All my favorite colors! It’s just so cozy.

This little thrift store chair got a new life last Fall!

{it has since had another new life}

 Thrift store chair started the Fall decor door area!

Well that’s about all I can think of to dig up for this wonderful scouting party!

I love that I now I have a FALL post all in one.

    We still have to make it to the beach this year, I am looking forward to my summer vacation. After that I will embrace fall and start our soup night again!

    After many days of an unbearable heatwave and drought, we had ONE cool / cloudy day yesterday here with some rain
    Later on it steamed ( Humidity ) up ( Temps ) again
    I went to bed last night telling myself ” only 2 more months till fall “

    I did the same thing Debbie, had to look through last years Fall posts to find one for Whisper Wood Cottage. Glad you had a splendid time on your weekend getaway:)

    Hi Debbie: I really love Fall too. I am always attracted to those earthy colors. Many years I decorated with only navy blue and rust. I have a few of those Early Provincial pieces like the little salt and pepper shakers. My grandmother used to collect them from the Jewel Tea man (I think). At least I know it was from some door to door salesman. You have started my juices flowing and I ‘m not even through with summer..Happy Sunday..Judy

    So hard to believe that fall is around the corner. I will welcome the cooler weather and the smell of fallen leaves. Ours are actually already falling from the horrible dry heat we had this year.

    I think there are a lot of us that love the Fall, I wonder why that is, I ‘m sure there’s some big long explanation somewhere but your Fall decor is proof why I love Autumn, so warm cosy, just beautiful

    I’m so glad you had fun and apparently didn’t do too much damage to Edisto! I remember quite a few of those projects. Since fall is my absolute favorite season, I love them all.

    I’m refusing to even think fall (well, too much…) until after Labor Day. We’ll see how that one goes.

    So happy to hear you had a good weekend at the beach! Every girl just needs a couple of days away once in a while! 🙂 I love, love all your Fall inspiration projects and decor! I have to say it is one of my favorite times of the year. Your projects are all so pretty and creative! I love your front porch! So colorful and inviting! If you don’t mind, could you share with me the color of the stain on your front door? We are getting ready to redo ours. The Texas sun has not been very nice to our door to say the least! We are having a hard time finding a nice dark stain. Already tried a couple and they are either too red or too brown. I really like yours! I think it is very similar ( if not the same) to what our door looked like four years ago. Thank you in advanced, Debbie!

    Hi Debbie! WHAT…no pics from your girls weekend at the beach? I loved seeing Kirstie’s house!!!!
    I too love Fall! And when we reach those dog days of summer, I really find myself longing for it. However, with our climate, we don’t get a true Fall. I have to go to the mountains for my true Fall. But that’s okay. We love to go up the hill!
    Happy day to you friend!

    Hi Debbie! Thanks again for hosting the Newbies and for popping over to my blog! Oh my gosh – I am so looking forward to the cool, crisp breezes of fall and the wonderful decor. Like so many others, it has been a long, hot summer. Not pretty around our parts – dead grass, dying landscaping, water restrictions! So sad! But, I just know fall won’t disappoint! Jane
