Diy burlap bunny on a Spring wreath

Well, here we are hopping along the season again.

By the time I get back Spring should just about be starting in full force here in the Carolina’s

I know my allergies will.

While at the dollar tree the other day

I picked up a pack of these foam cut outs.

You may remember recently my

Mixed media Butterfly art

or even last year my bunny silhouette art work.

All inspired by the dollar tree seasonal craft section.

me and crafts 001

I am not a very good drawer…

but I can trace:)

So I traced out some burlap around this cute little pink bunny

After I traced and trimmed around the foam,

I mod podged the burlap right on the foam.

Dollar tree Spring decor embellishments

I dressed up the burlap bunny with a dollar tree embellished bow.

hair scrunchy bunny tail

Yes, you read that right a hair scrunchy for the tail.

now that was clever:)

They come in a 4 pack for a dollar.

Now I have no hair to even use them…I just got myself a short doo.

I knew I would put my diy felt flowers to use quickly.

I spray painted my grapevine wreath.

And no this is not the same one.

I found this one in the corner of my garage last week,

just crying for some attention.

I would say all I need is a pretty large bow for the top…

and it will be ready for my front door here shortly.

Love it, Debbie! After seeing burlap bunnies at Hobby Lobby the other day {and refraining from buying one}, this would be a great alternative to get the look without spending a lot. I will probably be copying you ~ again. : ) I already have some printed burlap, I just need to get the foam bunny from the dollar store!
