Christmas Extravaganza Party time!

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Dec 9, 2013 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Hello, Hello!

I swear, I feel like I have been getting ready for Christmas, pretty much since Halloween.

Makes no sense, but it’s true. We have to start early out here otherwise ideas and inspiration fall to the wayside.

I figured I would do a recap for you all just in case you missed something, or perhaps you are new here and you can see what I have bee up to.

Let’s see, I think this season I started with a Pottery barn inspired Holiday pillow

Then in my travels at the Dollar tree, I stumbled across a pickle ornament.

Do you know I had never heard of a Christmas pickle before?  I must live under a rock, because apparently you all have.

Christmas pickle tradition

I love the Dollar tree, not only for the decor, but for learning something new thanks to them:)

While I was at the dollar tree that day I picked up some pretty tissue paper and votives and made my own decorative ambiant candle sconces.

dollar tree ambiance and whimsy

I also picked up a plain white plate and thought I would make a cute Christmas sharpie plate

You can get just about anything at the dollar tree.

I even picked a plain clear vase and made it a Sparkly festive Christmas vase

Yes, peoples this is what I have done already for this year alone.

It’s crazy the crafts you can do on a dime!

After I was over my glassware projects, I moved on to burlap and linens

I think these are my favorite diy this year.

Diy Holiday napkins.  Washable, permanent and very personal.

Made my first Burlap Christmas tree cones.

Styrofoam crafts for Christmas

And cute foam snowman balls too!

First time this year working with Foam.  I really like it. Easy, and so light.

This window Foam ribbon wreath was snap to make.  Looks super cute and festive too.

All the while, I am spreading JOY and cheer around the house,

since October HAAAA!

I did manage to get some baking in already.

Oh wait, no I didn’t. I don’t bake {hardly}

but I did try my hand at some home made peppermint bark.

Oh I almost forgot, these pretty Winterberry Pfaltzgraff dishes reminded me

I also did a tablescape

Of course, I had to use my new Holiday napkins!

Somehwere in the midst of all this crafting chaos, I made some Holiday Printables.

So there you have my Christmas Extravaganza.  Instead of the 12 days of Christmas song, I think I will sing, “12 crafts a crafting and a blogger who is tirrrrred”!

oh wait, how about I add two more to the mix…

I love it though, otherwise why would I be here.

You got quite a few projects done, Debbie, and they all look great! I probably should have started earlier, but every year there is something I find and want to do at the last minute. I should do them anyway so at least I will have them for next year. : )
