Burlap diy curtains

;

I love re-purposing in case you have not noticed.
{Burlap diy curtains/valances}

These burlap rice bags have gone a super long way in my house. {free}  I have just a few pieces left, and I decided I would make a burlap valance for the laundry room.

{Don’t peek around here yet},
 I have not shown you the laundry room’s full reveal! Just look at the curtains…FOCUS!
I cut the bag in half, and just hot glued the trim across, leaving a small little opening to be able to fit my rod in between.

Added a little twine and some clothes pins.
Nothing fancy by no means, but it does look cute, free and adds a little texture and interest to a plain door window.

This was the sack I used, and reversed it.
There may be a little writing peeking outside the window..and I am sure the neighbors are thinking what the heck is that?

Won’t be the first time they go by and shake their heads,and I am sure it will not be the last time.

Thanks for stopping by today.  If you are not a regular, I sure would love to see you back again.

    Very rustic and unique. Plus, so easy to make! I’d love these in a lake house or a mountain cabin.
