Bathroom makeover for less than $100.00

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Oct 21, 2014 · Modified: Nov 28, 2015

Hi there everyone!

Our little, I mean little guest bathroom was in much need of sprucing up. It’s been about three years since I have put any thought or effort into sprucing it up.

Today, I am sharing a bathroom makeover for less than $100.00.

Of course, Home goods, better known as trouble!

I told you that in my post about adding length to draperies.

I set a budget of 100.00.  My motivation was I was hosting bunco at our home  and this is the bathroom the girls will use.

Bathroom makeover for less than $100.00

I wanted to add a bit of Halloween in the bathroom as well and what more appropriate than eat, drink and be scary.  I can guarantee that will happen.

We painted the small bath back few months ago when we did our kitchen in Bavarian cream and the master bath in monroe bisque by Benjamin moore.

I have to say the monroe bisque is extremely hard to photograph in a small bathroom with no windows.

You can get a better feel for the color in the Master Bathroom.

Bathroom mirror and towels from Home goods

The mirror is my favorite purchase of all.  I thought because the bathroom is so tiny this would perhaps open it up a bit and the light would reflect from the other side.

I am into a paisley big time lately.  I have always loved paisley.  You will see in our Master bedroom soon, how nicely things tie together from room to room with color and prints.  Not matchy, but flowing. I like the rooms to flow.

Bathroom counters painted with Giani granite paint

I have been asked many times about our counter tops.  My husband and I painted these with Giani granite counter top paint and now this project is going on almost 4 years old I believe.

Not a chip or any sort of  damage since the project.  Excellent product.  You can read all about the process and my review

Giani paint review.

bathroom print at HomeGoods

This little picture just caught my eye.  I think it is cute and quirky and it said made in the USA on the back.  I figure it is by a small hometown artist.

bathroom accessories from Home goods

I like it above the toilet.

Shower curtain from Home goods

The shower curtain is a simple white with some color splats.

Bathroom rug from Home goods

A set of two bath rugs, one for the floor and one for the shower.  I loved the little lace trim.

I think that about covers the small bathroom done for less than a hundred bucks.

Here is the cost break down.

Thanks for stopping over today. If you are not a regular, I sure would love to see you back again where I share thrifty home decor, craft and recipe ideas!

I loved reading about this. I love the sink treatment. I had no idea they had kits for doing the
Marbelized sink treatment. I wish we had a home goods store where I live. Another great place to find stuff is bed, bath an beyond.

Don’t I know the trouble of Home Goods…and my closest one is an hour’s drive away! And still it’s trouble! 🙂

Your bathroom looks beautiful, Debbie. Everything goes together perfectly.
