Apple Spice pumpkin muffins

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Oct 6, 2013 · Modified: Aug 16, 2015

Hey there!

Yummy, today I am sharing Apple Spice Pumpkin muffins.

You know I have been on a pumpkin kick.

My last pumpkin muffin recipe went crazy out there!

In fact, so much so, that my younger boy Jack is mad at me.

He apparently is over the pumpkin phase and said I need to quit and start making better treats.

Bossy little thing. I will make what I like:)

I told him it’s not all about him, the rest of the house is digging it.

Here are the deets.

Apple Spice cake mix

can of Pumpkin 15 oz.

and the new Pumpkin spice kisses.

I mixed the pumpkin in the cake mix,

NOTHING else, just the pumpkin.

Popped them in the muffin tins

and added a kiss randomly in the middle and just put another blop of cake mix on top,

just a little blop will do ya!

I didn’t put kisses in them all, just in case they were not good.

I wish I did though.

The mix even came with an apple topping I put on as well.

I will declare these the best so far.

Did I say that last time?

If I did, I take it back.

These were the best.

and with a fresh Gala apple on the side.

I had the best lunch ever:)

And yes, I did eat all four of these. OOPS, I went a litte overboard.

Not all in one sitting, sporadically throughout the day. It was less guilt.

Enjoy!

I should have known you would not post just another pumpkin muffin recipe! I wish I never knew about those pumpkin spice kisses — they will do me in, if I ever taste one.

How long did you bake them? I bought spice cake, pumpkin and the kisses but don’t know what to do now!! Hoping to get them done tonight to take to my coworkers tomorrow for breakfast. Sounds too yummy!!

I baked them for 25 minutes I believe….not as long as the cake would take. Just watch them and bake at 350 degrees. I would start at 20 minutes and go from there.

Do you use liners in the tin or did you bake without?

Without, just sprayed the bottom with Pam.
