5 diy Thanksgiving craft ideas

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Oct 30, 2013 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Good morning!

This is Shari from Turnstyle Vogue sharing 5 diy Thanksgiving craft ideas

 – back at Debbie’s for another visit with all of you.

Can you believe the holiday season is just a couple of days away? Doing retail, I have had fall décor in my store for a few months now, and just put Christmas in last week. At home, I’m already planning our big Thanksgiving weekend. It will be a full four days of fun. Have you started thinking about things you want to do for the season?

Need something to jump start your creative mind? You are in luck – today, I have a five ideas inspire you to start planning and creating!

1) Snowy Pumpkin Owls

Use your pumpkins you have on your fall porch right now and turn them into something fun and whimsical – and beautiful – for the holiday season. They make a great centerpiece and would be a terrific greeting at your front door.

2) Tiered Serving Platters

Gather up plates, bowls and candlesticks and create a buffet of serving platters for all of your holiday appetizers and desserts!

Mix and match. Make it fun!

3) Pear Place Card Setting

There is nothing more beautiful than adding natural elements to your holiday table.

And there isn’t anything easier than these!

4) Scented Apple Wreath

Another natural accent are these scented apple wreaths. Wrap them around a candle, hang them in your kitchen –

or create a long garland and display on your table!

5) Thanksgiving Party Confetti

Get your papers and punches out! This confetti is a beautiful accent sprinkled around your holiday buffet.

Use snowflakes for Christmas!

So there you go! Five ideas that will hopefully turn into many more. I’ll be back same time next month to share more holiday ideas.

In the meantime, come visit me often at Turnstyle Vogue. I love this time of year and always try to share as many ideas as I can.

Have a safe Halloween and spectacular November with friends and family!

Be inspired,
