2010 Enter if you Dare

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Sep 1, 2010 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

I am mixing this year both Fall and just a tad of Halloween for now. My older boy Alex has a big Halloween party and we I really have fun decorating for the big event.  We do not have haunted houses, or lawn witches….but I do get creative with skeleton bones and games.  Any fun games I would love to hear your suggestions.

I made a fun wreath I thought I would share with you.

Ok quick tutorial on the wreath.  I first spray painted it black.  Remember that orange silk yarn? Well I wrapped some around the bigger vine part of the wreath. Sprayed some pine cones black….embellished with two black feathers and a crow! That was it.
This week I wanted to participate with Miss Jenny’s rainbow Alphabet party.  But wait, I do not have the color INDIGO anywhere in my home, and I really want to incorporate it in this post. Although, very much a brown nose, I do not have time to come up with two posts for the day.  We all know Indigo is a cross between blue and violet see the color wheel below.

SO BAM!!~ I looked around and what did  I see?

I made a little styrofoam wreath for my younger boy the other day. He is a candy freak and I told him he can have a piece a day after his homework. He loves picking away at this thing.

Hope you enjoyed your little tricks and treats over here at Debbiedoos!

Great photos! I bet you really do have a Halloween blast at your house. You have to go to the dollar tree. I was there Monday and saw what was packaged as brains! It was sooo gross! It was packaged like meat on styrofoam with cellophane around it. Picture a pound of hamburger from the grocery store, except it looks like a brain! Disgusting! However, those kids would love it, and it's only a buck! Love your wreath too!
