One Man’s trash is another Man’s treasure!

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jul 18, 2012 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Happy over the Hump day!

Why do we say that?

I guess because it is Wednesday.

Just sounds wrong to me!

Welcome to the Newbie spotlight of the week!

Something to be Found

Meet Katie!

a garage sale addict with big plans (and little experience) to turn her “somethings” into, well, something. Come join her as she thrifts and learns to DIY-it-all-up!

You are just going to LOVE this gal.

This pretty red chair and her sister were tossed to the curb.

Can you imagine?

Katie is always on the hunt for something…

and a whole lotta something she usually finds.

{I love these skates}

Yellow…my favorite color too!

I don’t want to give too much away.

Head on over and welcome Katie to the land of blogs.

She is a keeper for sure.

Don’t forget to check out the other gals picks of the week.

Hi Debbie Dear! Oh, my goodness. Look at those chairs! I can’t imagine anyone tossing those out! Yep, it’s hot here too with 600% humidity! But if I don’t make my little glitter houses now I know they’d never get done.
Thanks so much for popping in to see me and I’ve been seeing your cute little face on FB and you sure looked like you were having so much fun.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia 😉

Oh, this girl has such an eye for good treasures. I would have to elbow her hard if I went to the same sale! No, actually, I’m just impressed. So glad to have met her through the newbie party this week!

My dear old aunt had a black leather chair just like the red one. It came from a high end decorator shop in the 60’s – perfect for today’s decor. As always, Debbie…it’s fun meeting new gals and seeing all the amazing creativity.

I got myself so turned around and ferhoodled this week, that this is my first chance to sit down with a cuppa and be inspired. I am definitely hopping over there since I LOVE trash to treasure.

Wish someone would find me on the curb and give me a makeover…
