French Country burlap wreath

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Feb 14, 2013 · Modified: May 19, 2016

Good morning !

Today I am sharing a burlap French Country wreath I whipped up last week sometime.

I loved the colored burlap and thought it would look great combined together.

That one trip to hobby lobby will keep me busy for a while.

The burlap and stamps I purchased will give me a few projects for spring.

I really enjoyed doing my first

Spring decorating and butterflies

diy art work project.

You guys all know I love my roos.

Roosters are in da House

Believe me I tried kicking them out of here a few times.

But they just come back.

I suppose family and friends always know what to get me for my birthday or just because.

Want to see this wreath I am speaking of?

I bet you do!

diy burlap wreath

I love these burlap flowers.

They were half off so I bought three of them for $1.00 each at Hobby lobby as well.

Country french decor

I think these roosters know what they are talking about!

Oh btw, I used this red spray painted grape vine wreath that I did last  last summer.

DIY Summer wreath

it was cute then, but even cuter now….

These cute little clothes pin will be useful for some summer or spring quotes perhaps.

Embellished burlap wreath

For now it hangs in the kitchen window.

It of course replaced

my  Valentines’s wreath, once Christmas wreath.

I have been changing up the colors around the kitchen just with a splash of yellows, greens and blue.

Of course, this little lamp had to get some embellishments.

Lamp embellishments

You know how I love thee lamp embellishing.

Did you miss that post?

Thanks for stopping over today.

I have some kinks to work out on my blog.

I have to work on my blog roll and reset it, add it back and also add back a few other things.

ahhhh…computer fun today!

P.S.  I forgot to share with you how I did this…READY….set, here it is

Cut burlap into squares{small 4×4}

poke burlap squares in grapevine wreath with the end of the pencil so you get them in the grooves.

Embellish accordingly.

I tied the white twine on each end, and then brought it on the other side diagonal.

Hot glued the flower.

Hi Debbie … just love the colors in your wreath and the burlap sunflower is just so perfect. At $1.00 that was a bargain … I would have bought more. We don’t have a HL here.

Glad you are getting the kinks worked out of your computer. Such a worry when trouble happens.
Blessings and wishing your a happy Valentine Day.

What an awesome wreath, Debbie … love it! The colors are perfect in your beautiful kitchen. And, the burlap is perfection! There are rumors that we might be getting a Hobby Lobby here … I will be soooo excited if that’s really true!

I am so jealous it’s awful. If our HL doesn’t have those colors in burlap I’m gonna holler at em’. I can’t even say how much I love your wreath with all the great happy colors. An intro to Spring huh? Maybe Jo-ann’s might have some colors if HL doesn’t. Get my coupons ready. It”s another week from Wed. before SS payday. This is our 4th. month in a row with 5 weeks between. I might have craft store withdrawal.
I’m ready to have windows and doors open, wear capris and hang my laundry out again. Hate having to put laundry in dryer, makes the elastic in anything wear out and clothes fade. I’m a die hard clothes line gal. I have to paint anything on my island in the kitchen and it’s kinda cozy in there. We don’t have a garage or basement. In good weather I work out on back deck. Have a wonderful Sunday and week coming up. Look foward to seeing what you’re gonna do next.
Love your blog Debbie. I’m not a blogger but subscribe to many. Seeing your burlap creations, I keep going to my kitchen and sewing room for things to try out. Can hardly wait to go to HL soon. Awesome projects girl.
