Entertainment center makeover in the makings!!

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jan 31, 2012 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Hello, Hello! Hope you are all very well today.  I had a fabulous day with friends shopping at my favorite antique mall Sleepy poet.  I do believe they were pretty happy we came, as we all left with a little fun something.
In the meant time, I would like to show you a little of the entertainment center makeover.
Today, is not a great day for photos, so this is mostly snippets.
 New hardware {sash pulls from the early 1800’s}
were purchased.
You may recall our color choice dilemma
HERE
After much consideration, and reading all your lovely responses, in the end we
decided it was not a great idea.
Our family room is full of color and really this piece would just be a big ole eye sore in a different color introduced in the room.  We did however spruce it up a bit.
These appliques I purchased at Lowes and Painted them black…then adhered them with the command strips.
I did get a few new things for the top of the entertainment center as well…
It all came together nicely, and quite reasonable with cost.
I can’t wait for a sunny day so I can show you more…
Can you tell what I did to this pillow?
Yes indeed it is stenciled!
More on that later.
Thanks for popping over..
I will catch up soon.
XO
