Make it new again and make it your own with Reclaim paint.  I love their motto.  In fact, I say that myself often.

Today, I am sharing how my old bar stools were brought back to life with Reclaim paint.  This was the first time I was using their paint.

You probably don’t know this. But these stools are going on their 3rd makeover  You can see my rooster stools  then my second makeover painted and stenciled stools here.  In fact, these were put away in the garage for the past few years.  I had bought new ones for the kitchen, which I really loved. However, it is time for a Spring change and I thought I would bring these back to new life.

Reclaim paint kit included everything I needed to know to make this project simple.  The color I chose was Nantucket.  Reclaim paint made the job easy. No Sanding, No Stripping, No priming.

counter stools painted with RECLAIM 010Shocking, but true, this was only after one coat of paint.  I did let it dry for a few hours and go in and give it another quick coat.  Reclaim paint can be used on Cabinets, furniture and more.  It was awesome I tell you!  Not too many of my projects go without a stencil.

I used my stencil adhesive and picked a pretty metallic bronze craft paint to stencil on the stools.

I let that completely dry for about 30 minutes

and out came a perfect designer counter stool.

I admit, the paint brush jumped out of my hand onto a few other little things in the kitchen.

I couldn’t resist.  The season is all about Blue this year.  My favorite color.
