Sparkle mod podge crafts

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Dec 8, 2013 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Good morning!

Sparkle mod podge crafts are perfect for the Holiday season!

Today, I am just jumping in real fast to share some more Dollar tree goodness with y’all!

Thank you so far to all whom have joined the All things Dollar tree party.

It will be open for a week so you still have time to craft something up to share and inspire us.

I actually whipped these two things up last night. It was cold and dreary here all day yesterday and in between me being a taxi cab driver

I started and stopped crafts all day long.  Wouldn’t change it for the world though.  In fact I am in no hurry for my 16 year old to get his license.

Anyhoot,

remember the other day I shared my subway art Printable ornament.

Well I love to craft as well with my printables if I think I can. You may recall my

Fall Printable table top decor.

This one was super duper easy.

I printed it out first.

Cut carefully,

placed in the middle of my dollar tree plate {first I used craft glue}

then on top of the printable and plate I lightly

painted on some sparkle mod podge. I also dusted some diamond dust, which I will share below.

I used sparkle mod podge for the first time a few weeks ago on my polka dot Sparkly Christmas vase.

How can you beat that for a buck! It really looks cute and so festive.

I think it would make for a cute gift idea as well, decorative only of course.

I couldn’t stop there, I was on a roll last night with the sparkle.

So I made a frosty Christmas mug.

Clear mug purchased at the dollar tree along with the little Christmas minatures.  You get a few in a pack.

I again, painted the sparkle mod podge on the mug, and I also used what you see here Diamond dust.

Neat stuff from Floracraft.

I then filled the mug a bit with the diamond dust

Placed my little miniatures inside and crated a winter wonderland inside a frost mug

Of course added a dollar tree snowflake too.

Hope you enjoy what I do, and enjoy what I share.

I sure appreciate you stopping by today.

Hope you follow me around!

Cute ideas with enough simplicity for kids to do. I’m going to try the bulb with my gr-grandson. Thanks!

Woops…. I said, “bulb”, but it was a cup you used. However, we’re going to do it with a clear glass Christmas ornament (bulb). LOL

OOO! I’m in love with that plate Debbie. I’ve been eyeballing those plates for a while now. I just might snag a few for gifts. That mug turned out adorable too.

This is so cute. Can you get the Floracraft dust from local craft stores?

I think they have it at walmart and you can check your craft stores as well.
