Save the Earth one jar at a time

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: May 2, 2013 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Good afternoon everyone!~

You know I love me some jar crafting.

I do believe if not for me alone

I am saving the earth one jar at time.

#recycle,#repurpose, create

I put  a little twist on my usual

mod podge on a jar

paint a jar,

Spray paint a jar, or whatever else I have shared here in the past.

I am starting to lose track

YOU?

craft jar 001

typical sauce jar

craft jar 002

Twine

and some craft paint for color.

Twine is a real pain in the butt to wrap around a jar and keep it tight..even with gluing along the way.

any tips would be great on this.

Crafting a jar with twine, paint and stencils

You do realize I like to accessorize my crafts as much as I like to accessorize myself:)

I just love a little something something, even if it does not make sense.

Upcycling jars and crafting with them

recycled jar craft

This really makes for a cute little vase and centerpiece

Crafting with jars

So that’s that!

Save the earth one jar at time, and craft it.

Oh wow, this was a total surprise! I already liked it with just the twine but the paint is PERFECT!

Tragic, indeed! Life is so short and we’re all human in that we try NOT to take things for granted but we do. Sending love and prayers to the families and to you.

Cute project ~ love the colors!

Hi, i have a tip for you on wrapping jars with twine, or yarn—–spray bottle in sections as you go with spray adhesive. It works great and keeps twine or yarn straight.

    Hope this helps!

Another trick I learned for wrapping twine is a floral double sticky tape that works super! Love your stuff.
