Hi Everyone, Please Welcome, Sharon, a very dear blogging friend of mine from
Well, hello. I thought I heard someone out here. Come on in.
I’m so excited that you’re here. Can I get you anything to drink before I show you around?
Why don’t you go ahead and follow me into the kitchen and we’ll start our tour there.
I love that the kitchen is open to the breakfast room.
The command center has it’s own little nook just off of the kitchen.
And the laundry room is just behind the door on the end.
The dining room is conveniently located across from the kitchen.
Let’s go through the living room
and down the hall to the bedrooms.
This bathroom is the first door on the left. It serves as both our daughter’s bathroom and the guest gath/powder room.
Just next door is our daughter’s bedroom.
and the door on the end leads into the master suite.
There is a third bedroom at the opposite end of the hall. I’m working on turning it into a teen lounge.
And that is my home. Debbie, I sure appreciate the invitation to share my home here today. It was a pleasure. Y’all can come over anytime.
Thank you Sharon for having us over today.
Your hospitality is much appreciated.
Hop on over and say Hi to Sharon if you will..I know she would be ever so happy!
Jessica @ Mom 4 Real
I love your home Sharon! It’s so cozy and welcoming…especially the quote from Lyle Lovett. So pretty! Put out a place for me…I’ll be there for dinner 😉
Lyle Lovett is one of our favorite performers. And you can come over for dinner anytime, Jessica!
Oh wow! I love Texas…and I love your beautiful home! Your kitchen is so inviting and every room has personal touches that say home. I am still trying to get a better look at the rack you have on your counter top in the bathroom. I could really use something like that to put things out that I use…or that look pretty…without using so much counter space. I love your piano. I always want to walk by and open some music up so that it’s ready to be played! My hubby and I both play! Thanks for the tour!
Hi! Thank you so much for your lovely compliment. The rack in the bathroom is actually meant for the floor. It’s a standard bathroom storage rack that I decided I liked better on the counter. I got mine at HomeGoods or Ross, I think. I’d love to have you over and hear you play the piano. We bought it when my daughter and I were taking lessons. Neither one of us is taking right now, so it doesn’t get much use. But I still want it around…just in case.
Love Sharon and her home is just beautiful!!
Love you too, Pamela! We need to get together soon. xo
Sharon your home is beautiful. I love the interior and exterior. Thank you for giving us a tour.
Thanks to Debbie, too!:-)
Thank you, Pat. I love cottages, and we’re a small family. So, this home is perfect for us.
Sharon, cute home and I love the cow painting.
Kim, I thought you might like that cow painting. 😉 Seeing the cows in your home inspired me. I got this painting through Pamela’s (From My Front Porch to Yours) online store…Finch & Company Designs.
I love Sharon’s home and blog!
Thanks for being one of my biggest cheerleaders, Cynthia!

Thank you, Carlene. I’m so flattered by your compliment.
Debbie, Thanks for the tour… it’s lovely!
JP, your home is lovely too. Your Thanksgiving table setting is beautiful and those suitcases are to die for!
Very enjoyable and lovely home. Sharon has done a great job of making it comfortable.
Thanks for showing her home.

Audrey, it’s always a pleasure to hear from you. I’m so glad you enjoyed my home tour. One of these days I’m going to get up to the hill country and come see your home. And if you’re ever down this way, come on by. REALLY! xo, sweet friend.
What a beautiful home tour. The home is so cozy and warm and inviting. Simply gorgeous.
Wow, Judy. It doesn’t get better than “cozy and warm and inviting.” That’s the best compliment that I could hope to receive. Thank you. I’ve long admired your home as well. It’s simply beautiful!
Thanks for stopping in at The 2 Seasons. We think you are a blogging rock star and are thrilled by your visit.
Mrs. Hines, your home is very pretty! I’m a fellow Texan too so I must come visit your blog. 🙂
Thank you, Stacey. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I had a chance to visit your blog and I love everything you’re doing in your home. I am looking forward to getting to know you. I think we have a bit in common, of course, being a wife and mom, but I was a teacher for 18 years.
Jane @ Cottage at the Crossroads
Thanks for sharing Sharon’s home. I saw so many things that I loved such as the cow painting and the Lyle Lovett quote! Oh, and that basket labeled with “table linens.” Her home looks so warm and inviting, just the way she is!
Jane, your kindness warms my heart. I think you are a very lovely, warm and special lady. I’m so glad to know you. xo
I agree with others ~ warm, inviting and welcoming! Thanks for sharing, Debbie & Sharon. It’s always great to get to know another Texan so I’ll stop by her blog also.
Have a wonderful weekend!
It is most certainly great getting to know other Texans. It will be my pleasure to get to know you.
Tami @ Curb Alert!
Beautiful home tour, Sharon! It looks so pretty and inviting. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you, Tami. It’s been so fun getting to know you through blogging and I look forward to meeting you “IRL” soon. You have an open invitation to come see me!
So pretty. Love the computer nook and the organization at your entryway. Those were my favorite spaces (:
Thank you, Shannon. I’m still working on the details in both of those spaces, but I do enjoy them quite a bit. They were definitely selling points when we looked at this floor plan.
I’m so happy your feeling better! I love the 3 tier basket and how you’ve made it so resourceful! You have a very nice home and I love your kitchen too!
My Little Home and Garden
This home is lovely, very comfortable and inviting.
It always makes my day to hear someone call my home comfortable and inviting. Thank you!
Very lovely home Sharon. Love all the added touches that make it look so comfortable. One of these days we’re going to have to get together, seeing how we don’t live that far apart.
