Our Atlanta getaway!

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jun 7, 2011 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

I love that we have friends living in Georgia!
It is such a great place to visit, eat and site see.

This visit was pretty low key. A lot of pool side, eating, and laughter.
My friend Lisa and I have been friends for 13 years now.
I met her in our first home (South Florida) while trick or treating with Alex who at the time was 14 months old. Alex was Barney that year, and he was so cute when we went to her door. Her son Biagio who is a year older than Alex answered the door with his diaper, blanket and binky in his mouth.
The rest is history……
and history we do have. Our kids were always together.
Lisa and I are very different. She is a career woman,
a minimalist,
and she reads A LOT!
Kitchen

Formal living room

Pool

Family room, and as you can see my Lucy felt right at home.

I created this fruit, cheese and chocolate combo, it was delish.

Now trying to get a normal family picture of us all, was impossible..

Little trip to Roswell, very charming area, great restaurants.

These chicken tacos were to die for!

Another attempt at a family pic…FAIL!

Random shots, these flowers were so pretty.

Family pic, another fail!

This was so cool! Came from a Magnolia tree.
And Finally I got to meet my friend Kim from Savvy Southern Style.
We were laughing while taking this picture because
we almost contemplated just showing you gals an ear:)
One more thing for the road here girls…
