Tree is up and all trimmed!~
Just about all our ornaments have a meaning. They are either home made or were given to us. I even added my own home made ones this year.
I put it in our loft area and it is enjoyed by all. The boys like it because the upstairs is pretty much their domain.
This little snowman face, I have three of them. A very special friend from RMS made them for me. Thanks Norma! THose are one of Jack’s favs.
Now onto some more Christmas fun around our house!
We have 10 years of Christmas water ford ornaments that were given to us each Christmas.
Have had this cool retro light for years now, it is in the boys TV room. This was the extent of their tree in there.
Dollar tree goodies
This ornament was made by my BFF, she knows me very well, and knows I have light bulb moments all the time HA!
Oh, I love allllll your decorations. Your tree's glow is beautiful. You've done a great job with the picture taking. 🙂
Everything looks beautiful Debbie!

Debbie, I love your tree up on the loft area. So pretty with all the homemade ornaments. I have been in and out of here all day and came in and threw this post together. I am glad I took the pics this morning early while it was sunny out.
The tree location is perfect! What a beautiful tree, Debbie. Love all your other Christmas decor too…Christine
Your tree is quite beautiful and I love the boys ornaments. Your 1950's lamp has a fiberglass shade and they go for around 150-200 dollars on ebay. I bought a similar one for 5 dollars at a yard sale and did some looking on ebay. Having the shade is what makes it valuable apparently. Happy Birthday to your Mom!!!
I love your tree and your special handmade and gifted ornaments..those are the best! The lightbulb one is really cute. I also really like the toy deliveries sign and the nutcrackers up the stairs. I just bought my first christmas cactus this year can you believe that? Then my mom brings me one for Thanksgiving too, atleast it was a different color. She usually gives me amaryllis so it was an unexpected delight. I like the photo of the tree that kinda looks like an xray, it's very neat!
Looks beautiful and I love that your decorations were homemade or gifts. How special!
Oh fun ! Love Christmas time !
Everything looks so festive and fun!! I love the handmade ornaments. I get so excited when Jemma brings home something she made! Your tree in the loft is so cozy looking! You just have all the touches around that make it so special!
Hi Debbie, Your tree and ornaments are so pretty, love your loft area and the stairway. Your house looks to festive. I'm glad your mom had a great day!

Happy Birthday Mom, sorry I missed it! Debbie, that must have been tons or work to get everything up, I love the ornaments the kids made, I still hang my sons up every year. You have to keep getting nutcrackers so you can have them on every step. Love that lamp!

Picnik Rehab – Jan 1st 2011.
We will need to surrender and turn ourselves in.
Seriously, I knew you would have two or more trees. They are wonderful.
Posting done, but dropping after Midnight for the Friday giveaway. That means I get to play tomorrow.
BUI- this has been a fun, but long haul this week.
Time to go read a few paragraphs before dozing off into snowy slumberland. Yes, it's coming down. Dang that means no play but shoveling early. I wouldn't want Liz not to get up the drive to clean.
You know who!!!!
You have such a flair for happy! I am always happy to see what you have and I always smile when I do see it! Love the vibrancy and meaning and loveliness that is you and your taste!
Just beautiful and don't you just love being a mom of boys? I remember browsing the aisles of Toys R Us when my boys were little and I'd go to the girl aisles, look at the dolls and then head on over to the boys aisles to buy plastic guns, army dolls and remote control cars. It's a part of life I never would've enjoyed if I hadn't been a boy mom:)
TOO MUCH TO COMMENT ON!!! My brain can't handle it…where to start? Ok, first I totally agree that you can't explain "blogging" friends to "in your real world" friends. Until you are in it, you can't understand it! And, your pictures are gorgeous, your tree is beautiful and I love that you put it in your loft. I WANT that super cool lamp and I love that you have the Nutcrackers going up the stairs. What a great idea! Thank you so much for linking up to the party this week Debbie and for being a great friend. Not blogging friend, just a friend. Period. 🙂
Oh how beautiful your home looks Debbie. I love that they all have meaning. That is truly special and sweet. Gorgeous!
Happy weekend! ~Melissa 🙂

I just love those two red cone shape trees with the white fluffy stuff!!! Just gorgeous! Your trees are so pretty.
Debby- I LOVE those light bulb snowmen-Crap…wouldn't you know I just tossed 3 light bulbs out in the trash – just before it went out? The girls would have gotten a charge out of making those! (get it? Electric bulb? Charge?-never mind)
Everything looks lovely-festive and beautiful. You did a great job (again)…what? No painted pumkins 'neath your branches?;>) Hugs- Diana
I love all your decorations, Deb!

Velvet Over Steel
You decorate so Beautifully, Debbie!! & with such 'good taste' too!! 🙂 My decorated went from 'themes' when I was first on my own. To 'kids' decorations, mostly made by by kids, to a combination of homemade (and kid made) with 'meaningful' decorations. I get rid of a lot of stuff in the last few years & have only kept what is meaningful to the boys and I… along with only the decorations that I love!! & I love all yours!! 🙂
Marla @ Always Nesting

There you go with your awesome Picnik skills again … fun !! Your tree is soooo pretty. Love how you used clothes pins to attach some of your ornaments (I did that in my mudroom). And, you KNOW that I love your nutcrackers and how you have them displayed on your stairs … genius !! I can smell the hot cocoa on the stove now. Have a great weekend, Becca

Everything looks so cute!!
Debbie! So nice! You do have such a creative vein in your blood! I like your fun photo techniques! I used to put up a tree with the ornaments the kids made and special ornaments that were given to them. I guess I'm keeping them for the future to hand down to them now…
Happy Holidays! Liz
Had to come back to get some inspiration…are those nutcrackers from Germany, they look authentic to me? Spent a Christmas there and fell in love with them, but EXPENSIVE, here at Home Depot yesterday I saw them for $15, GET OUT!
My name is PJ.
Is there anything lovelier or warmer looking than a Christmas tree? I can't think of anything.
Your house is gorgeous!

Stuff and Nonsense
Should've mentioned that I'm your newest follower too…:)
Your tree sure looks beautiful and I love the artistic look to your pictures, I'll have to try that sometime. It's so great that your ornaments all mean so much to you. I purchased all new ornaments last year and the boys didn't like the new ones, they prefer our old ones that don't even match. I guess because they too have more meaning to us than new ones do. Today is the day we decorate our house and put up our tree, in a couple of hours. But I think we are going to mix old ornaments with new ones.
Thanks for stopping by.
