Happy Spring greeting

Happy Spring greeting

Good day everyone! It’s so beautiful here these days! I couldn’t help but feel inspired by the upcoming Spring season.

Of course, I always start outside on the porch and make my way through the house with a few simple touches here and there.

I made a happy spring greeting for our front door. I don’t have a lot of pictures to share because I actually just used my cell phone. But you will get enough details here that you can go and make your own happy spring greeting.

Yesterday I had a little retail therapy day. Do you know how long its been since I have had one of those? A very long time. I needed to get out and I was on a mission to find something for the kitchen wall near our windows. I wanted something with more of a wow factor. Its been years since I have bought anything new for the kitchen walls. We don’t have that much space to hang things so I have always been limited in my choices.

This rooster sign was waiting patiently for me at Home goods. It’s a keeper and exactly what I envisioned on that wall.

So let’s get to the quick craft.

All the wood  crafts were on sale at Michael’s 50% off. I scored this for $3.99.

This little embellishment I believe was a 1.00.  I picked up a small painted wood monogram to go over this little frame.

I painted the sign and the little frame with chalky paint. The same paint I used to make my gather here pillow a few weeks ago.

I hot clued the little frame on, then the M monogram. I used my gather here stencil. I then lightly sanded the frame and put a coat of wax on it to enhance the color.

Happy Spring greeting colorful diy welcome sign

I already had the floral and used that as the back drop. Oh it’s so happy and colorful.

Hope you enjoyed our Happy Spring greeting

That’s about it for today. Whenever I have something fresh and new to share you can bet I will pop in and share.

Thanks for stopping by today.

If you are new here, welcome! I am also very excited to share my new stencil line with you.

I would have been excited to see that sign as well, and they just open a Homegoods near us. Sadly, I am on a no spending budget at this time.

Hi Martha, this is the pressure cooker I bought.https://www.amazon.com/Instant-Pot-IP-DUO60-Multi-Functional-Pressure/dp/B00FLYWNYQ/ref=as_sl_pc_tf_til?tag=debbiedoos-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=bf44455488c782b0892ff81d398b157b&creativeASIN=B00FLYWNYQ. Also, in reference to the light, that is a scent warmer that I found at Walmart a few years ago.
