Dollar tree Fall scarf Wreath

Dollar tree Fall scarf Wreath

This is about the easiest and quickest wreath I have ever made. I had a lot on my mind today. Nervous energy is more like it. My Mom had a big procedure done on her lungs. She is the first in the WNY area to undergo spiration valves for sever emphysema. There was a lot of criteria and test she had to under go before she was approved. She passed all with flying colors and by the grace of God, she qualified for this procedure. She is in recovery as we speak and doing well! CHEERS to that.

With that said, I needed to keep my mind busy. I flew to the Dollar tree and just threw a bunch of stuff in a basket. Not really knowing what I was going to make of do. I picked up a wire wreath form, three fall orange and black gingham scarves, and some embellishments. Off I went!

I wanted something other than what I had put up on our wall art recently for the front porch. You can see the Fall front porch here. I am not even sure if I showed this piece because I wasn’t thrilled with it.

I don’t even have a tutorial for this Fall scarf wreath. All I did was wrap one scarf at a time around the wire form, and tie the next one, and wrap again. As you can see I let the remainder sort of dangle. I liked the added bow, and then the free flowing dangle look.

I stuck in the two fall foliage greenery picks, one on each end in different direction. I then hot glued the welcome metal embellishment. Those come in a three pack. One is harvest, one is welcome and the other is thankful. I am sure I will find something cute to do with those. You can’t beat the price (three for a dollar)

I couldn’t wait to run outside to hang it. I hung it and stood back and said to myself “yes, that’s it”! The added texture is just perfect. I love it!

I often get asked about this wall art. We bought it years ago at Hobby Lobby. I am certain they still carry similar pieces like this. If they don’t, you can check Kirklands.

I sure was happy to keep my mind busy and positive thoughts while my Mom was undergoing this surgery. Now we just need to pray for a swift and successful recovery. I have no doubt it will be. This was the hard part.

Recap on wreath: You will need one wire wreath form (Dollar Tree)

Three fall scarves, greenery and the three pack of fall inspiration metal words.

Wrap the scarves around the wire form and when you get almost to the end, tie the next one and make a bow as shown. You can make it your own way and to your desire. If your Dollar tree does not have the fall scarves, I know for certain they will have winter ones. I think I may have lucked out with these three black and orange gingham ones. Not certain on that.

ENJOY! Thanks for stopping by today.

LOVE that wreath. And it’s exactly what I need. I spent about 20 minutes going through my bins, looking for something for a wreath. Found NOTHING. Off to the store, and I’ll have a wreath soon! Thanks, Debbie. Hope mom is doing well.
