Dollar tree Christmas centerpiece idea

Hi there everyone! Finally starting to settle down around here.   Today, I am sharing a Dollar tree Christmas centerpiece idea.

You only need a few supplies to create.  This idea was my sisters.  Every year when my Mom and sis come to visit we like to create a craft together.

Last year the salt and pepper snowman shakers were the hit.  The year prior it was our recycled pickle lid Christmas ornaments.

For this craft you will need

Two small white pillar candles

Two glass candle plates

Once candle stick holder, and one tea light candle stick holder.

Sparkly icicles ( Come in a pack of 6)

Small jingle bells. ( Came in a pack of 16 swag) We simply cut them

Silver tray

and some Christmas picks for embellishing.  You can use candle canes, cinnamon sticks, ornaments, or whatever you may have on hand.

First we painted the candle holder sticks.  I used my chalky paint, and sparkle mod podge.

They get two coats each of the chalky paint.  Let completely dry and then paint on the sparkle mod podge.  I like to use the sponge brushes on these little glass projects.

These are strictly for decoration.  I would not pick these up while the candle is in use.  Just in case the hot glue is not secure enough.  You can always use a gorilla glue to make it more permanent and secure.

We hot glued the bells to one plate,

and the sparkly icicles to the other.

I had a little white boa that I placed around the candle for the illusion of snow.

Our Thanksigiving table looked quite festive.  You can make this centerpiece for less than $10.00.

Such a cute idea; very ‘Christmasy’; and the Dollar Tree certainly is a very budget friendly place to shop. You girls did good; love it.
