Desk makeover using Annie Sloan chalk paint

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Sep 7, 2011 · Modified: Apr 27, 2013

You may recall this
office in a closet from long ago.
Worked out for a while, however, I needed the space back.
Desk was originally Oak, then I painted it black…
Today I hauled it out of there…
I mixed Old white and Provence blue Annie Sloan Chalk paint, to create a lighter shade of blue…

New hardware can also make a huge difference on any furniture transformation.
The knobs came from World market
What would a Debbiedoo’s project be without a little stenciling project?
This shot I used the flash, as this room gets little light, and I wanted you to be able to see the color…
I heavily distressed it, so not only the black peeked through, so did the original Oak..
I like it!
Now we can look out the window instead of a wall.
And did I mention, I have two CLEAN closets! YAY!!~
