Crockpot turkey recipe

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jan 9, 2014 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

MMM!!~ Hello there everyone.

Today I am sharing a super easy and delicious Crock pot turkey recipe.

My Father-in-law actually shared this recipe with me on his last visit.  He simply said try it, it’s really good.

Turkey in the crockpot

I didn’t even have to write it down because there are so little ingredients to this, I remembered it easily when I went to the grocery store.

I wish I had a better picture of the after, but seriously, it was gone soo fast

I only had a little bit left in the crockpot by evening and I had to snap it.

I should have snapped it at dinner time, but I try to focus on my family not a blogging snap moment LOL!

well, most of the time I do.

Crockpot turkey recipe that is to die for

 THIS PICTURE

does this recipe no justice but I can assure you the flavor and moistness surely will satisfy you and your family.

I sure love my slow cooker this time of year and will be sharing more simple recipes throughout the winter with you.

I had to check this out, and I’ll be pinning this one because I may be the only person on the planet who can’t stand the smell of roasting turkey! 🙂

Is that onion soup or beefy onion soup? This sounds like the
Cold turkey would be great for sandwiches.

You can use either, I think I used the beefy onion because that is what I had in the house, however, the original recipe just calls for the regular. I would not know about the left overs as it was gone by the morning LOL!

I love this. I love turkey but don’t actually roast them all that often. This is perfect for a color January night after a cold January day.

And the bonus? It’s so easy a Debbie and do it.

Wow! I’ve got to try this one. It looks so good, and I love anything I can make in the crockpot so that it cooks dinner while I sew – ha! Thanks for providing me with a new recipe. Peggy

Can you use the jellies cranberry sauce? We don’t care for the whole cranberries.

Was this a sweet taste? My husband doesn’t like his meat to taste sweet. I am thinking of doing it this T-giving but am afraid it might be too sweet for his liking.

I just asked my husband and son what they thought of the sweetness. They said Yes it’s sweet but not over powering sweet. That’s a tough call for you lol. Happy Thanksgiving. It really is easy and delish.

I have breasts. Abt. 8 lbs…..sound about right for 8 hrs? If not do you know about how much the weight was that you did at 8 hrs? So I can guesstimate!

I really don’t recall. But that should work. I would set to 6-7hours and check on it periodically.

I have made this a couple times. It is so delicious! I am making it today for the in laws. I wanted to share that I am using an almost 8lb turkey breast. These always have a gravy packet in it, I add that to while cooking. When it is done I strain the juice for my kid, since they don’t like the onion bits. Adding the provided gravy packet makes the sauce nice and thick and everyone loves it! Thanks for this recipe, simple and delicious!
