Campbell’s real life, real dinner

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jan 12, 2015 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

As my dear Grandfather would say, “That’s an old name in the business.”
Campbell’s! Growing up you could always count on a good ole’ can of chicken noodle soup being a staple in the cupboard. Always a favorite of mine! You could be assured I drank it from the cute little Campbell’s mug. Funny, we just saw all those mugs in an antique shop recently and it brought back such fond memories of being a kid and eating Campbell’s.
Campbell’s sure has expanded and grown. Soup may be their middle name, but there’s much more to their company and they are growing in new and exciting ways.

This time of year is all about comfort foods. Whether they are stews, soups or casseroles, I like them quick and easy. Of course, I never want to compromise the taste. Not to mention, we are busy with two teenage boys in the house. Monday through Friday our days are full and hectic. Dinner is a must and with real life daily doings, I must make it simple.

Today, I am sharing Campbell’s Classic Roasted Chicken dish.

Real life real dinner by Campbell's

You can find Campbell’s Oven Sauces nationally at your local grocery store. They sure make cooking a real, flavorful dinner on those busy weekdays an attainable reality!

Campell's Oven sauces

Campbell’s Oven Sauces makes it easy to put a real square meal on the table without giving up those precious moments with the family.

Recently, my Mom and sister came for their annual visit. I wanted to make a good meal and spend as little time in the kitchen preparing.

A few key ingredients, which I always have on hand, are red potatoes and carrots. I mentioned, we love soups and stews and of course these go in the mix.

Red potatoes

A little dicing

Campbell's Oven roasted chicken

Chicken breasts and baby carrots, and that’s about all you need for a delicious and flavorful dish. You don’t even need to dice the carrots. Simply use baby carrots and throw them on in.

Prep time was about 5 minutes. Simply add chicken, veggies, potatoes and sauce to an oven safe dish and bake for 40 minutes for a delicious dinner.

While dinner was in the oven

My family and I had the time to sit around, laugh, converse, and of course

take some selfies!

me mom and sissie

In less than an hour I had a good home-cooked, tasty dinner on the table.

The directions are on the back of the Campbell’s Oven Sauces and, of course, you can add more or less.

Cambpell's roasted chicken sauces

My family enjoyed it and in fact, said they were going to pick up a few sauces when they get home to try!

Campbell’s has a variety to choose from such as Chicken Pot Pie, Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken, and Sweet Teriyaki, just to name a few.

Thanks Campbell’s for simplifying and taking the stress out of “What’s for dinner tonight, Mom”?

You can also visit Campbell’s on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube.

How will you use Campbell’s sauces to make a wonderful family dinner?

Debbie, that looks so good that I could just dive in! I miss cooking and eating chicken due to my husband’s chicken allergy, but perhaps I could use the sauces with stew beef or pork. I will definitely look for them the next time I go grocery shopping! And I loved the selfies of you, your sister, and your mom!
