Burlap banner

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jul 24, 2012 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Hi there!

Second time in the past week or so, I am T O T A L L Y inspired (copying) by my blogging friends.

After all, that is why we are here right?

I think so! To inspire, be inspired and be the most creative souls we know how to be.

So, we all love Burlap!

I was inspired by one of my newbies with this cute little banner.

I told ya I was going to make one.

Melissa from Daisy mae Belle

dream frame121 DIY Dream burlap banner!

Nice to have all this burlap on my hands.

I am running out fast though…

I just simply draped mine along our bed.

I was going to drape it over the vintage window, but you really could not see it well.

I cut out square pieces of burlap,

stenciled the letters on,

and used twine to hot glue the banner pieces on.

I also made little faux flowers.

Not much to it REALLY!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

I love both the inspiration and the copycat. Your bedroom is really pretty! I’m sure I’ve seen it a dozen times before but I was just noticing how much I like it.

Darling Debbie, I really like the stencil that you used. Just thinking, hubby would be so happy if I took a lesson from you. Your bed looks so refreshing with just a couple darling pillows. I have 11 on mine. Nightly ritual is that I try to remove them before hubby goes in there so he doesn’t have to think about how bad he hates so many pillows on the bed. lol! Your room is very warm and cozy. Darn, I missed the party. Thinking it was the 28th. Was just going to do a post. Oh well, what’s new? Always a day late and a dollar short.
    Hugs,
    Jann
