A sparkly Peppermint Christmas tree {Dollar tree Craft}

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Dec 4, 2012 · Modified: Dec 9, 2014

Are you tired of my Dollar tree decor and crafts yet this year?
Sure hope not.

I love the Dollar tree.  What better place to create a Holiday home on a friendly budget for most. You can get a glimpse of my past Dollar tree party  with over 85 + inspiring Dollar tree Christmas decor ideas…

there is absolutely no reason not to have a festive home this season.

On a budget.

You may recall last week when I shared my nature and Dollar tree Kitchen centerpiece

In the back you caught a glimpse

I had an idea and thought I would whip this up one night while my Mom and sis were here.

The three of us have so much fun together.

My Mom and I are the crafty ones…while sis just says all that she wishes she could do…

sew, knit, make jewelry..she has high expectations, while I keep mine small and simple.

Does it get any simpler than this?

Do you need a tutorial?

I notice this tree is dwindling in mints…hmmm…I wonder who that could be.

these bows come in a two pack…

for  a dollar.

Well if you do..here is the quick version.

hot glue the peppermints on the tree

Cut snow flake sticks in half, insert in tree.

Hot glue bow on top of tree.

Place tree on faux snow covered tray

scatter mints around tray.

10 Minutes.

Our Dollar tree  all things Christmas party

click the above link to go on over and check it out.

now has over 85+ attendees.

Let’s get this party to a 100 ROUND up…

come on we can do this!

party ends December 7th.

WOW, that is a whole lotta dollar tree inspiration.

thanks for stopping by today.

If you are not a regular here, I sure would love to see you back again.

XO

I like it Debbie! Just love that Dollar Tree. I just discovered a good one near me and they have those silver (metal) trays that are so cute. I saw in Crate & Barrel the other day silver mistletoe ornaments, that were pieces of mistletoe in silver. I thought I saw a mistletoe ball at the Dollar Tree last time I was there and thought about cutting it up and spraying the pieces silver but couldn’t find it when I was there last evening. Hope you have a lovely holiday season!

My mom is the crafty one in our family. She can whip things like in a snap just like you . I think the tree is just adorable. I’m doing a peppermint/candy cane theme in my kitchen this year so I’m all about that look.

I’m out of town this week in Macon, GA. I’ve already hit one Dollar Tree, and then I saw another right near my hotel. Imagine that. Two of them!
