Dollar tree Spring table

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Mar 15, 2010 · Modified: Feb 10, 2016

I am so loving this time of year!
Spring and Fall are my two favorite seasons….
Today I decided to do something special for my boys.

easter

Jack  my youngest was the first to see it, of course the first to dig in the jelly beans too.
He loved it!!~ He was so excited over the wind up chick.
I will make some strawberry shortcake for dessert and they can sit at their special place and enjoy!~
Happy Spring to you all.

 Diy little votives

Dollar tree placemats, bowls, and candles
These little chicks are wind ups…so cute.

Little chicks are also from the dollar tree

Larger bunnies from Marshalls.

Little trees with eggs dollar tree along with the placemats.

Cute little apron from Marshalls.

The boys really enjoyed this Dollar tree little table setting.

Spring is all around.
Fun to just add a splash of color here and there.

Getting ready for some burger salad eating!

Little Foam letters also come in a pack from the Dollar tree.
Thanks for stopping over today.
 Happy Spring!

Love the apron and the new Easter decor. I'll have to try some in my kitchen. I love that you did it for your boys. My girls would love it too. I understand all about your comment at the museum. My girls are almost 7 and 4 and some times I try to take them in like I could keep them this age forever. It's hard being a momma! Some parents can't wait for their kids to grow up and move off. NOT ME!! I love finding other people who feel like I do. 🙂

That is quite a talent you have Deb. The artistic side of you. Gives a feeling of Easter.

I like the look and feel of your kitchen. It looks very cozy and inviting. And it's been a while since I've seen a design with the oven and microwave in the wall. That's a nice touch.

And is that a chalkboard behind the sink?

Yes Marty that is a chalkboard behind the sink. Kathryn I took tea light candles and removed the tin, then I gently placed it in the shell, easy peasy!

You have a lovely blog and a lovely family!!

I couldn't help but read down to your story about being a mom to boys – I felt the same way about my girl – she will be 20 in 2 days – but I just felt like I had to have a girl – and it has all worked out for the best – although to be honest – she is the most sportiest girl there is and I had to learn very quickly about all the things I said I didn't know about – ha! But, I wouldn't trade her for the world – just like you wouldn't your boys – I guess it just all works out!

Hope all this rambling makes sense – I still can't get over her being 20 – seems like yesterday I was bringing her home!

Hi Debbie! I am so pleased that you stopped by. I just completed my first year of blogging in December 2009 and I love it. It can be quite time consuming but it's been a real treat doing it!

Your Easter display on your island is so charming. I can just imagine how pleased your little guys must have been. I miss decorating for little ones. Even the grands are all grown now. (Not even I believe that!) 🙂

Tell your mother I said thank you so much for sending you by. Do I know her?
I think I will tag along with you and see what the new "Martha" has in store for us. Learning…always learning! 🙂
    Hugs and love to you,
    Mona

We don't need Martha any more! This is great! I can't get over your attention to detail! Did you blow those eggs to make those candle holders? Will you adopt me? (Don't let my advanced age of 53 throw you; I act like I'm 10!)
