Going to Miami, Miami, Miami!~

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jul 21, 2010

“Theres no place like home, theres no place like home!!~ Soooooo happy to be back! First off, I missed all you guys, and I am soooo sorry for all the posts I have missed reading.  There is no way to catch up so I am just taking it from here.  I will be sharing our vaca in small doses…so much we packed in a short time.  Really it was a lot of visiting with friends and family mostly, and a lot of eating. One highlight of the vacation was our day trip to Miami.  My husband wanted to get a tattoo, which we will get into that later. Where else to go, but Miami!~ Well we decided we would make it a family venture, and it a venture it was. My boys have seen and heard things I never dreamed they would so early on, however, exposure to different cultures are a good thing!

It was a nice HOT day! The humidity in Florida was very high this day.  My boys where real troopers.  First thing we did when we arrived was eat at  Nice Mexican resteraunt.

This is my Me and my Mother in law…she is quite the hottie in case you noticed!

Alex is very independent in the city..he sure knows how to get around, and I can see him living a city life someday.

This is the latest thing since we where there last…you can rent a moped for the day.  They are all over the place and really are so very dangerous when driving, they weave in and out of traffic and they are all over the place.

Ok, so now on to the real story…..this dude was in front of the tattoo parlor…he was an interesting character to say the least.  My boys have for sure decided they will never take up smoking, as they saw this dude hack up a lung or two…and it was GROSS!

You may recall some time back, my husband was given a clock from his father whom he just recently connected with after many many years….well the clock had special meaning to him, then and NOW…so he decided he would have a special rememberence tattooed on him….well four hours later…and education in the city of MIAMI that my boys will never forget, here it is….

It really is incredible, and he is so happy!!~ Hope you enjoyed your trip to MIAMI!!~:) More to come later.
Don’t forget about my B & A  party  goings on NOW!

Miami looks great! Miami can’t be any worse than Venice Beach (where Mary Jane is sold on the boardwalk) and Hollywood or Hollyweird as we call it sometimes! Strange, but fun!
Mike’s tattoo is cool!Glad to have you back 🙂

Sounds like you had a good trip. I know when I go somewhere, I am always glad to get back home. Think I will pass on the tattoo place – I am chicken, but really don’t want to get one anyway.

Welcome back ! We just got back from our vacation too! My kids have seen way more than I ever did too but as long as we are there with them as they experience it, I think it’s a positive experience.

What a great trip. So many fun colors to see. So, the big question is just how much hairspray does the MIL use to keep that do in the humidity…giggle-giggle…

The other question is how did you get your header picture so big and centered. I’ve have been working on mine for like for ever and can’t seem to get it centered.

Back to the drawing board and welcome home.

    Toodles,

Looks pretty neat but looks painful. I love Miami, been there a few times. I like the South Beach area. Enjoy more of your vacation. I am flying to California tomorrow but it’s not really a happy trip..Christine

Love the tat! My hubby and our son have tattoos…and I love and am amazed at the artistry…but for me, I don’t think I could be brave enough to get one…being such a wimp to pain! (It’s amazing that I was able to give birth without being knocked out or without any meds!

    Blessings & Aloha!
(Thankyou so much for entering and following! I am trying to do some blog reading…I reallly wanted to join in with your before & after…but still have to figure out how to get my post completed & up in time!)
