My own personal chef

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Aug 4, 2012 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Well, let me retract that title.  Chef Tia was not my OWN personal chef, she was OUR own personal chef!

How fun was this!

You know Groupons are the latest craze on the internet….

and my friends and I are discovering new fun things because of them.

Miss Natalie, bought this groupon for us girls a few months back.

We chose our menu,

are venue was at Natalie’s

and we let the night unfold.

Now poor Chef Tia, either she quit her job last night,

or she walked away, thinking how much she loved her job!

That knife she uses…..$400.00 bucks. Let me tell you that thing would CUT you!

Cheers!

Notice Chef Tia smiling…

this was the beginning of the evening.  I am sure she was thinking OH boy, I am in for a treat with these girls, OR NOT!

Look at that hand going.  Not sure I would ever take the time to shred taters, considering I can buy them that way.

But these were some darn good potato pancakes.

We tried to get her secret ingredients, but I think she fibbed:)

Why give away your secrets for free!

Oh my, sorry to make your mouth water…it was delish!

How many times have you seen and heard me talk about cake this week?
Can’t imagine why I am gaining weight.  They all say LOW calorie.

This was the best red velvet cake I ever had…

shhh…I snuck in another piece!

Chef Tia is our new BF!

Everyone needs a good cook in the kitchen.

Thanks for a fun night out girls!
If you ever see a groupon for this and you are looking for something fun and different,

I would totally recommend this.

We even asked her to sit down with us and eat.

She said she never had done that before,

but hey OK…

We are cordial like that:)

Have a great day everyone!

Gosh that did look like fun. That dinner entree looked amazing. I’m a HUGE lover of asparagus! And don’t get me started on that decadent cake. I have a terrible sweet tooth. I never turn down dessert! Wish I could’ve joined y’all.

I am using a travelzoo coupon today with two of my girls. We have a spa appointment at a new Dallas downtown hote. Hour massage, pedi, mani and we are getting there early to sit by the pool and have lunch. 99 bucks! free valet. Wow, we just have to tip and add our lunch bill today. I can’t wait. Fun personal chef idea.

My husband did that for our wedding anniversary – had a chef come in and cook for us in our kitchen! It was a total surprise too and had I known beforehand I would have tidied the place up a bit. Oh well, lot’s of fun! Take care and thanks for bringing back great memories!
