Vintage bicycle in the garden!

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: May 30, 2012 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Hello, Hello and welcome to this weeks Newbie spotlight pick!

Sorry, if I have been out of the loop this past week. My boys only have a few days left of school.  Jack is graduating from Elementary school, and it sure is bittersweet and very sad for me to think of.  Of course, he is as happy as a clam.

He is so ready for Middle school.

Moving on…

so this was my first entry this week for the newbie party, and I absolutely fell in love with

Doreen from Hymns and Verses

vintage garden bicycle.

Can you believe this was her sister’s and her sister was ready to sell it at Auction.

Doreen gladly said, NO, I will take it.

I absolutely LOVE it.

Doreen bakes one good looking Strawberry pie too.

Doreen is a wife and a Mother of 3 sons!

She also just opened up her own Etsy shop.

I would love if you gave her a warm welcome to blog land!
thanks ladies.

I will see you later on tonight for the Magazine copy cat challenge.

Go on over and check out the other newbie spotlights this week!

Anyone who can back a pie and put a bike in a garden so it looks fantastic deserves to be welcomed. Oh and having three boys, well that goes without saying. I’ll stop over.

I adore that bike. Right now I’m looking for a worn out old wooden ladder for my backyard, maybe 3 or 4 rungs. I want to paint it a vibrant color and put plants on the rungs. I think it will look cute.

I love, love the bike! If I had the space, I’d be out looking for one too. I’ve always loved seeing them with the flowers in the basket, etc. Such a great idea! Off to check her blog ~

I remember that feeling Deb…the kids moving on. This year was my granddaughter’s first year in high school…last year was Alex’s first year. It just all happens too fast!! When they went to middle school I thought that was a huge change….and the changes just keep on keepin’ on. 🙂
