Before summer shelf

This is just a small Deck the Halls post. I wanted to join Susan’s party, and I am not quite finished decking my halls.
I am sure many of you receive the Ballard design catalog.  I recently was paging through always for inspiration, and came across this fresh cedar alphabet letter.  At 35.00, that is a NO WAY for me.  I had this wire initial for a long time. Of course with having fresh greens in the back yard…..this was an easy knock off job.  I first layered the initial with some faux cypress, then I layered the top with the fresh.  Pretty cute HUH?!!~ Now get out there and make one for  yourself .

NOW onto the Ballard inspired project. Here is the Ballard version:

Now here is the boys Winter Christmas shelf.

Added this cute little gift tag to my letter
These cute little guys are from the dollar tree, along with the poinsetta’s!
