Making home made sauce on the eve before Christmas eve!

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Dec 23, 2012 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Howdy everyone!

By now we should all be done, wrapping, baking, shopping and writing out our Christmas cards.

Oops that reminds me, I have a few more things to wrap.

Tomorrow evening we will have a quiet dinner at home with my step sister and her family.

I am making Home made sauce.

Did I ever tell you that is how I got my husband, hook, line and sinker?

True story,

I wasn’t really sure in the beginning how much this guy was into me.

All I knew is I liked him, and I had to have him, Forever…

so what is a girl to do?

COOK…

yep it’s true a way to a man’s heart is through his stomach.

Now don’t even think about asking me for the recipe….

for one thing, I measure nothing.

After all the one thing I have mastered and I don’t need to write it down.

I add Italian sausage,

home made meatballs

and some boneless pork chops.

All is a step by step process.

I thought I would recycle the cans for my table scape this year.

Made sense, home made sauce, why not use the sauce cans for some fresh flowers.

My table will be rustic and recycled.

As you can see the sticks…

I added some fresh herbs to the table scape…

and placed the dollar tree tray on the pile of sticks.

That is all I have for now to show you.

Must go wrap the remaining few gifts, and make my meatballs.

There will BE NO NEWBIE this week.

I am sure you sorta figured that anyhow.

See you after Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you all!

XOXO

If you have a minute, and you want to see what else you can do with

recycled cans you can go here

I will show you the way.
