I heart Valentines

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Jan 20, 2013 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Hey there everyone! February is fast approaching and before you know it, we will be in full swing Spring.

In the meantime, I heart Valentines!

Last weeks Newbie  party with a twist had a lot of  Valentine inspiration.

What is the first thing we think in regards to Valentines day…

Hearts.

Those spoke to me this week.

If you follow me on Facebook

you may have seen we had a Lucy scare.

I thought our dog went missing.

It truly was a heartbreaking moment

and one of which I never hope comes true.

Point of the story is, my heart is full of Love for that fat pugster!

Today, I am sharing all things hearts.

Penny from Penny’s vintage Home shares a lovely

Heart Valentine wreath

Not that I am playing favorites or anything here…

but Linda from White weathered Hutch sort of bestilled my heart

on this one

hmmm…I wonder why?

Her diy rooster tea towel, with hearts, may be the reason.

Then Miss Isora from My cozy Casita

shared her all things Valentines

I really love the heart on the chalkboard here.

 My thrifty rebel

shares  a super cute diy heart wreath with bling

hot-pink-Valentine's-day-wreath

 Next,

with a blast shares the cutest little

I love hearts basket

This next feature by Head over Heels

really was clever

a diy instagram heart wreath

Kathy from

Life on Lakeshore Drive

shared

a pretty

diy heart wreath with

a wonderful tutorial

alt="Valentine's Day heart wreath tutorial"

My friend Jo from Loblolly Jane shares some cute

crafting she has done.

this diy doily heart of her hearts.

Dear lady JP from Sweet Inspirations

shares some very special

Vintage hearts

Sew Sweet vintage

shares her sooo sweet

diy dish towel…

she loves her dog TOO!

I think that about covers the hearts for the day!

See you later on for the Newbie with a twist party.

Those darn little dogs! Mo got off his leash once…… at Yellowstone… and of course he doesn’t listen worth a crap when ‘ya call. I was filled with angst as my daughter, son and I chased that little SOB around. Had visions of a bear eating him, and him being lonely and scared in the wilderness or falling into a boiling crevice of volcanic water. Fortunately he’s highly motivated by food so after he chased every bird he could, he found a trash can and my daughter snuck up on him and put his sorry little behind in the car.

Oh believe me, I called Lucy lots of fresh little names when her tired little snuggly self was discovered in Jack’s bed! She so knows better too. Gosh it was terrible!

My fav color combo is red and white, so it kind of seems like Valentine’s Day all year around my place. Glad everything is okay with Lucy. Don’t know what I’d do without Abi and Charlie Ross.
