By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Sep 30, 2012 · Modified: Feb 4, 2025

Thank you, Thank you for all those of you who joined me in the Magazine copy cat challenge.

There was 30+ plus inspiring knock off decor ideas this time around.

You know I try to host this party at least once a month for the past year and half or so.
It’s been one of my favorite parties to host indeed.

You all share with me so many knock off decor ideas and projects, from Pottery barn, Country Living, Better homes and gardens, Ballard designs, and so many more.  I now open the party up to copying pinterest ideas and other bloggers.

You are all so good about sourcing out your ideas too, and I thank you for that.  We don’t want to get in any trouble.

I’d say the magazines are jealous for sure!

They have nuttin on us baby!

Fabulous indeed.

So let’s see…….

Each month I am blown away by your talents.

I love how you put your own fun twist on the original too.

I never really see an exact copy, and I LOVE that, because we all have our own unique style.

Let’s start with

Debra from Common ground

inspired by Southern Living

Next,

Better Homes and Gardens inspired

by Betty cozy corner

BHG recipe by Natasha in Oz

Pottery Barn inspired center piece

by Liz from Infuse with Liz

I had TWO blogging friends copy me this time around…and I LOVED them both.

in fact, they are even cuter than mine and I am flattered to inspire.

by Finding Secret treasures

Then Transformations from the heart copied my stenciled tea towel

In fact,

the entire vignette:)

Gina from Random thoughts, did a gorgeous job on her table place setting

She copied another blogger as well.

Mary beth from Cupcakes and crinoline shared the cutest little shabby chic pumpkin copy

Life and Linda shared her gorgeous mantel

inspired by Grandin Roads catalog

And for the last but never least…

Kim from the Money pit shared an awesome Pottery Barn knock off..

Look at the price difference! WOWZA!

For the other 20 inspiring knock off decor ideas from the Magazine copy cat challenge,

you may check out the party. Which is worth your while for sure!

It in fact is still up until midnight if you have anything you would like to add to it.

if not see you next month.

Thank you again so much for sharing all your inspiration, and in turn letting me share and give it back.

You know I am a crazy shouter on Facebook if you want to come hang out sometime!

Thanks for the feature Debbie. I went though all the links and I am super impressed (as always) for the people who link up. I don’t envy you have to pick just a few to feature!

Yes, I try to, sometimes I skip a month, but it has been pretty consistent for over a year now.

Great features Debbie. Could spend all day looking at all the posts … so much talent and inspiration. Thanks for hosting this party. I don’t usually get to contribute, but really enjoy stalking. By-the-way love your copy-cat and you are working wonders with your new headers. I need to learn to do that.

I loved seeing all the fantastic copies. The centerpiece that Liz made would be great on a Thanksgiving table.
