When the weather shifts, I do one full reset. Not daily tidying. Not quick wipes. A real clean that makes the house feel clear again. This is the short checklist I follow to get it done without dragging it out.

Start With the Whole House
- Open windows
- Declutter first, room by room
- Dust lights, fans, vents
- Clean baseboards, doors, trim
- Vacuum under furniture and appliances
Floors and Fabrics
- Wash rugs or deep-clean carpets
- Vacuum mattresses
- Wash blankets, pillow covers, throws
- Freshen curtains or vacuum them
Kitchen Reset
- Clear pantry and cabinets
- Toss expired food and spices
- Wipe shelves and drawers
- Clean fridge inside and coils below
- Scrub sink, backsplash, and hood
Bathroom Reset
- Empty cabinets and toss old products
- Wash mats and shower liners
- Deep-clean tile, grout, and drains
Storage and Closet
- Put away winter gear
- Rotate clothes by season
- Donate what I did not use last year
Outside Check
- Clean windows and door tracks
- Clear gutters
- Wash outdoor furniture
Final Step
I finish with one slow walk through the house. If something still feels heavy or unused, it goes. Spring cleaning works best when less stays behind.
