Today I am sharing a quick recycled placemats to chalkboard project.
So last evening I was talking to my MOM.
My sissie is getting married August 10 of next year and we are so excited!
Anyhow, my Mom started looking at my boards of course, and she noticed I have black board placemats.
She said “ya know Deb, those cheese placemats I gave you would be perfect, and you never use them”…true dat, cheese and wine is not my theme anymore.
SOOO…out they came…
Simple project. I used chalkboard paint I picked up at walmart in the craft section.
Gave them two coats, and let dry first in between the first coat.
from this, to that….
I think I will have some fun with these, changing them up and using them…
I actually wrote on these ones…see how horrible my writing is?
