A diy burlap banner for a wedding table

By Debbiedoo's Team Published: Sep 6, 2012 · Modified: Dec 17, 2014

More sharing from my sister’s fabulous Vintage inspired wedding.

I spied this burlap Wedding banner some time back on Pinterest.

Loved it, and thought, well I can make one of those too!

So I did. I made the Wedding banner for the head table.

First, here was my inspiration:

inspired by Pinterest

As you know the color scheme was a crisp sunny yellow, white and browns.

Being long distance, looking at the boards my Mom and sister have been pinning, I totally knew the direction I needed to go in.

Love is Kind!

Considering, I have already done a burlap banner for our Living room…I knew this one would be a cinch.

It was perfect!

Come to find out, my sister’s bedroom is this same color scheme.

I told her she could drape this along her curtains in her room.

Instead of Love is Sweet, I chose Love is Kind.

{Only because I ran out of burlap}

thank you again for all your kind comments and visits!

I am always shouting, sharing and chatting it up there!

You did a wonderful job on the banner! It looks so pretty on the head table. It think it’s great that she can now use it in her bedroom too.

Glad to hear you girls are going to make the Pin party a weekly event!

Banners are everywhere and I have never made one. Love this one for the wedding and you did a great job on it and thinking she can use it later is a plus. Glad you are continuing the Pit-It Party. I hope to be there.

I LOVE your version more!! I love that you used “kind” just because of the Biblical reference, and people use that scripture at weddings. And thank you SO very much for sharing my tablescapes:-)

Hi, Debbie. This wedding was absolutely beautiful. And the banner is just one of the perfect touches. My niece is getting married next summer and we’ll be helping long distance as well. You’re showing me it’s very doable!
